We often consider what our lives are like today obvious. We cannot really even imagine what the past was like. We travel through time and discover that what we are familiar with is often of recent date. We dive into stories of inventions and evolutions in society that completely changed our personal and social lives.

For those who want to look at the world around them in wonder.

The stories

The first Belgian footpath, origins of hotels and museums, about medieval and contemporary shopping, professions that have disappeared, the Facebook of the 19th century, about chariots and cars, light and dark in the city, pubs and restaurants, how the post was more efficient than the telephone, houseplants ... noise, smells and colours in our lives ... after this walk, you will look at your own life and environment completely differently.

What they say about it...

"Jan inimitably blends humorous anecdotes with his passion and knowledge to take you on an adventure that fascinates. In his walk he lifts a tip of a veil that has hangs over clubs and their powerful members. Highly recommended for everyone.”

Kris Hoflack, directeur Communicatie Vlaams Parlement
